The mission of AWANA is to teach children to know, love and serve Jesus Christ. It is a global, nonprofit ministry that has been in existence since 1950. AWANA strives to reach children, equip leaders and change the world through the guidance and power of God.  Highland Baptist has been hosting AWANA Clubs for 20 years and we enjoy being able to serve our community with this ministry.  We offer an AWANA group for children ages 2 years old through fifth grade from September through May. The group meets every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m.
 The first night of AWANA this year will be September 14th, 2023, with a Parents night. Please plan on joining us that night so we can talk to you about the program this year.
Spaces are limited so we need so registration is a must.

Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.
 In Awana Cubbies, kids learn basic truths about God, Jesus and salvation through fun handbooks, picture teaching cards and more. We love sharing the word of God with our cubbies.

Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. We would love to serve your K- 2nd graders in our Sparks program

The T&T (Truth & Training) curriculum teaches kids the truth of God's Word, trains them to follow Him and practice His grace. We would love to serve your 3rd-4th graders in our T and T program.
